About the Role
The company is hiring a Payroll Lead to support the execution and operational excellence of its U.S. payroll program. This role will focus on payroll operations, partnering closely with Accounting and People Systems to ensure payroll is processed accurately, compliantly, and on schedule every cycle.
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the Payroll Lead will own day-to-day payroll execution and act as a key operator in the payroll process, ensuring payroll data integrity, monitoring compliance requirements, and supporting reconciliation and reporting activities.

Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of U.S. payroll experience, including multi-state payroll processing.
- Strong understanding of payroll compliance, tax withholding, and payroll reporting requirements.
- Experience processing payroll in systems such as UKG, ADP, Paylocity, or similar platforms.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies.
- Experience supporting payroll audits, reconciliations, and internal controls.
- Strong organizational and process management skills.
- Ability to operate independently while collaborating cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and Accounting teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience administering payroll in UKG.
- Experience supporting payroll during periods of rapid company growth or scaling operations.
- Exposure to international payroll processes or global payroll vendors.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification.
