UKG Pro Consultant

Role Overview:

This consultant will serve as a UKG Pro subject matter expert, supporting the client and their implementation partner through the early phases of the project. The role will focus on translating business needs into UKG Pro design decisions, reviewing configuration, and helping the client prepare for testing and go-live.

Depending on the final scope, this may include support across Core HR, Payroll, Time, and related modules, with an emphasis on practical guidance and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support project kickoff and planning, helping clarify scope, priorities, and milestones for the UKG Pro implementation.
• Participate in requirements and design discussions with HR, Payroll, and IT stakeholders.
• Provide guidance on UKG Pro configuration best practices (e.g., organizational structure, pay rules, time rules, security, workflows).
• Review and provide input on configuration, data mapping, and integrations as needed.
• Assist with testing preparation (test scenarios, UAT support, issue triage) and go-live readiness activities.
• Act as a trusted advisor, helping the client understand trade-offs, risks, and options throughout the implementation.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with UKG Pro implementation (consulting or internal project experience).
• Strong understanding of HR and/or payroll processes and how they are enabled in UKG Pro.
• Exposure to multiple phases of a UKG Pro project (requirements, design, configuration, testing, go-live).
• Ability to work independently, collaborate with both technical and functional stakeholders, and communicate clearly.
• Comfortable supporting a client in a remote consulting capacity; hours and schedule to be finalized based on project needs.
