Payroll Analyst

PAYROLL ANALYST - FULLY REMOTE - UP TO £20/HR - PART-TIME - 6 MONTH ASSIGNMENT - JANUARY 2026 START

Robert Half are thrilled to be assisting an exciting company in their search for a temporary, part-time Payroll Analyst to join the team for a 6 month assignment, offering fully remote working and up to £20/hr!

• Job title: Payroll Analyst (6 month assignment)
• Location: fully remote
• Rate: Up to £20/hr (via umbrella company)
• Hours: 20 hours per week
• Start date: January 2026

Responsibilities:

• Process end-to-end payroll accurately and on time across multiple EMEA countries.
• Reconcile payroll data, investigate discrepancies, and resolve employee queries.
• Support month-end payroll reporting, journals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain payroll records in line with statutory and audit requirements.
• Prepare and review P45, P60, P11D and other HMRC documentation (where relevant).
• Liaise with external vendors across EMEA regions to ensure compliant payroll delivery.
• Assist with payroll system changes, testing, and process optimisation.

Requirements:

• Proven EMEA payroll experience, including knowledge of local legislation and compliance.
• Strong understanding of PAYE, NI, statutory payments, pensions, and UK payroll legislation.
• Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data analysis).
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
