2. About the Opportunity:
The Manager, HRIS will lead the HR Information Systems team, acting as the primary system owner for Workday. This role is responsible for leveraging the full capabilities of the HRIS platform to support a rapidly growing international workforce. The position balances hands-on system management with team leadership, ensuring strategic governance, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration. The role is critical in maintaining system integrity, driving data-informed decisions, and enabling scalable HR operations aligned with organizational growth.
3. Responsibilities:
• Lead ownership, governance, and configuration of Workday modules including compensation, benefits, absence, time-tracking, and reporting
• Establish system governance, change management, and release practices
• Manage HR policies within the system, such as leave, pay rules, and time tracking
• Design and deliver reports, dashboards, and workflows for data-driven insights
• Align HRIS structure with organizational changes, including new departments
• Implement controls for data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance
• Manage and mentor a Senior HRIS Analyst, setting priorities and supporting development
• Oversee consulting partners to ensure adherence to standards and security
• Manage team workload and ensure timely resolution of system requests and issues
• Develop scalable global collaboration processes across time zones
• Oversee system configuration, business process frameworks, security roles, integrations, and reporting
• Ensure HRIS compliance with labor laws, data privacy, and audit requirements
• Collaborate with Legal, IT, and Security teams on audits, risk assessments, and controls
• Translate business needs into effective system solutions and improvements
• Provide training, guidance, and change management support for users
• Maintain documentation of system configurations, workflows, and procedures
4. Requirements:
• 6+ years of hands-on, in-depth experience with Workday
• Proven ability to succeed in fast-paced, dynamic environments
• Strong skills in analyzing and optimizing HR processes through technology
• Expertise in creating and using Workday reports, dashboards, and workflows
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in complex situations
• Demonstrated experience mentoring and developing high-performing teams
• Experience leveraging HR technology to support organizational scaling
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• $150,000 to $180,000 base salary plus bonus and equity
