2. About the Opportunity:
The Human Resources Business Partner will serve as a trusted advisor to organizational leaders, guiding them through critical employee relations and workforce challenges. This role is responsible for shaping a strong, engaged workforce by leading employee investigations, performance management, leadership coaching, and talent management initiatives. The position ensures integrity, compliance, and care in HR practices while balancing business needs and fostering a supportive, human-centered work environment. It plays a key role in evolving employee relations functions that support both the team and the organization’s mission.
3. Responsibilities:
• Oversee and develop the employee investigations process, ensuring timely and unbiased outcomes
• Provide coaching and training to leaders on organizational and people challenges to enhance performance and engagement
• Collaborate with People team and business leaders on talent management programs, retention strategies, and culture-building initiatives
• Develop action plans with leaders based on team insights
• Facilitate resolution of complex workplace matters with confidentiality and professionalism
• Partner with legal and compliance teams to mitigate risk
• Manage the employee leave process to ensure accurate tracking, support, and regulatory compliance
• Address employee questions and concerns with care, accuracy, and timeliness
• Guide career development for employees and managers by creating and implementing development plans
• Use data and insights to identify trends, influence decisions, and improve team performance
4. Requirements:
• 6+ years of progressive HR experience with a strong focus on employee relations
• Proven ability to conduct workplace investigations from start to finish
• Deep knowledge of U.S. employment laws and regulations
• Ability to influence leaders and build trust
• Skill in managing sensitive, high-risk employee situations with tact
Nice to have but not required:
• Experience as an HRBP with clinical workforces
• AWI certification; SHRM certification or equivalent
• Experience in healthcare or startup environments
• Familiarity with MOUD/SUD and Harm Reduction principles
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• The starting pay range for this position is $140,000 to $170,000, with base pay varying based on factors such as market location, knowledge, skills, and experience
• The total compensation package may include medical, financial, and other benefits including 401(k) eligibility and paid time off such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave
6. Benefits & Perks:
