2. About the Opportunity:
The HR Business Partner II role supports the Engineering organization by aligning people strategy with business goals. This position plays a key role in driving scalable and engaging HR programs, fostering diversity, and designing processes that support growth in a fast-paced environment. The role acts as a strategic partner to Engineering leadership, contributing to organizational development, talent management, and culture-building efforts that enable engineers to thrive and support the organization’s mission.
3. Responsibilities:
• Advise Engineering leadership on organizational development, succession planning, and performance management
• Foster employee growth by designing career development initiatives and providing expertise in learning, total rewards, and employee relations
• Develop and execute people strategies to attract, engage, and retain diverse talent
• Promote company values to guide decision-making and manage change in a dynamic workplace
• Collaborate with People Team Centers of Excellence and client groups to implement initiatives and improve processes
4. Requirements:
• 5+ years as an HR Business Partner in a high-growth technology company and 7+ years of overall HR or related experience
• Proven experience designing and implementing impactful people programs and strategies
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills across organizational levels
• In-depth knowledge of employment laws and their practical application
• Strategic and analytical thinking with effective execution in ambiguous environments
• BA/BS degree in a relevant field
Preferred:
• Experience supporting Engineering, Product, or Design teams
• Interest in working in rapidly growing and changing environments
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• For US-based candidates, base pay ranges vary by location:
- CA, NY, CT, NJ: $177,000—$187,000 USD
- WA: $170,000—$179,500 USD
- OR, DE, ME, MA, MD, NH, RI, VT, DC, PA, VA, CO, TX, IL, HI: $163,000—$172,000 USD
- All other states: $148,000—$156,000 USD
• Compensation includes eligibility for new hire equity grants and annual refresh grants
• Offers vary based on candidate experience and skills
