Role Description

The Lead Recruiter (Volunteer) will play a key role in attracting, recruiting and onboarding qualified volunteer teachers for our language programmes. Responsibilities include developing recruitment strategies, managing recruitment campaigns, networking with potential volunteers, conducting interviews, and maintaining a pipeline of passionate educators. As a remote and volunteer-based (unpaid) role, this position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing meaningfully to our mission of equitable education access.

Qualifications

  • Talent acquisition and recruitment expertise, including candidate sourcing, screening, and interviewing
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to connect effectively with diverse audiences
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple recruitment tasks
  • Experience in using recruiting platforms and social media for outreach
  • A passion for education, social impact, and the mission of empowering underrepresented communities
  • Ability to operate independently, take initiative, and contribute to a collaborative team environment
  • Prior experience in volunteer management or non-profit organisations is a plus
  • Ability to dedicate 3-4 hours a week to the role.
