Workday HCM Administrator (Contract - 9–12 Months)

Seeking 1-2 experienced Workday HCM Administrators to provide critical system support and operational continuity during a temporary coverage period. This role will focus on maintaining Workday stability, supporting HR processes, and driving system and workflow improvements across multiple modules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day Workday HCM transactions (job changes, org updates, terminations)
  • Ensure data accuracy through audits, validation, and cleanup
  • Troubleshoot system issues and resolve Workday tickets
  • Support recruitment processes including requisitions, postings, and applicant tracking
  • Build and maintain Workday reports and dashboards
  • Support benefits administration including open enrollment, ACA reporting, and vendor integrations
  • Manage and optimize integrations with external providers
  • Support Time Tracking and Absence modules, including troubleshooting and process improvements
  • Create and maintain documentation, SOPs, and training materials
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and provide knowledge transfer to the People Operations team

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Workday HCM administration experience
  • 3+ years of Workday reporting experience
  • Strong understanding of HRIS processes and data integrity
  • Experience with Workday Help/ticketing workflows
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred

  • Experience with Benefits, Time, and Absence modules
  • Familiarity with Monday.com
  • Experience managing integrations and vendor relationships

Additional Details

  • Contract role (9-12 months)
  • High-priority coverage needed mid-July through August
  • Must be flexible to support varying workloads and time zones
