Solution Oversight Lead

Title: Solution Oversight Lead (Dayforce)Salary: £85-90,000Location: Remote, UKContract: Permanent

We are seeking a senior Dayforce authority to take ownership of solution direction and quality across complex programmes. This is not a hands-on configuration post. Instead, you will act as the guiding force behind design integrity, ensuring that every implementation stands up to scrutiny, scales properly, and supports long term business strategy. This position sits at a global level and requires an individual who understands how to protect solution quality while steering multiple workstreams with clarity and confidence.

You will provide overarching direction across full suite Dayforce deployments, safeguarding architectural standards and challenging decisions where necessary. Your remit will cover the full platform including Payroll, Time, Workforce Management, Benefits and Core HR.

• Oversee end to end solution design, ensuring it reflects best practice and long-term sustainability.
• Scrutinise requirements and confirm they are translated accurately into robust system architecture.
• Participate in design governance forums and senior review boards.
• Identify potential risks early, particularly around integrations, compliance and data structure.
• Conduct independent reviews of configuration and testing approaches.
• Assess readiness for go live and highlight mitigation strategies where required.
• Advise on payroll parallel testing strategy and validation frameworks without executing the configuration yourself.
• Ensure documentation and decision logs meet professional and audit standards.
• Providing direction to Project Managers from a solution standpoint.

What we are looking for:

You will bring substantial experience working with Dayforce in a lead capacity, ideally having operated as an Architect, Delivery Lead or Senior Consultant. A deep understanding of platform architecture, module interdependencies and data structures is essential.

Essential experience:

• At least five years working extensively with Dayforce at a senior level.
• Strong knowledge across Payroll, Time and Attendance, Workforce Management, HR and Benefits.
• Demonstrable experience reviewing and validating solution design.
• Proven ability to assess complex business requirements and translate them into practical system direction.
• Confidence communicating at executive level and influencing senior stakeholders.

Desirable:

• Formal Dayforce accreditations across multiple areas.
• Exposure to large scale or multi country deployments.
• Experience in governance, programme oversight or enterprise HCM strategy.
• Strong understanding of payroll compliance and regulatory frameworks.
