Job Title: Global Leader of Employee Relations, Labor Relations and HR Generalist Services (Senior Director level) Position Summary Iron Mountain is seeking a strategic, seasoned Senior level HR professional to join our Global HR Service Delivery team as Global Leader of Employee Relations, Labor Relations and HR Generalist Services. In this role, you will be responsible for setting and executing the global strategy for fostering a fair, consistent, and high-performing workplace in over 60 countries across the globe. You will be part of a newly reorganised function, essential for optimizing our HR operational leadership and ensuring consistent delivery of people practices that directly support business success. What You’ll Do (Core Responsibilities) In this role, you will:

  • Lead the design and implementation of a comprehensive global Employee Relations (ER) and Labor Relations (LR) framework that ensures legal compliance, promotes fairness, and proactively mitigates risk across all regions.
  • Develop and manage a global team of ER, LR, and HR Generalist professionals, establishing governance models and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive consistency, effectiveness, and alignment with organizational values.
  • Serve as the senior advisor and partner to Employment Law, HR Business Partners (HRBPs), and senior leadership, providing critical guidance on complex or high-risk ER/LR matters, organizational changes, and emerging legal risks.

What You’ll Bring (Skills & Qualifications) The ideal candidate will have:

  • Substantial and progressive Human Resources (HR) experience (typically 10+ years) with deep expertise in global employee and labor relations, including managing complex investigations and policy implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and labor practices across multiple geographies including North America, Europe, Asia Pacific (APAC), and Latin America (LATAM), with experience in both unionized and non-unionized environments.
  • Proven ability in leading and developing large HR teams across multiple geographies and cultures, coupled with sound judgment and exceptional communication skills to manage senior-level stakeholder engagement.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Law, or a related field (Master’s or Juris Doctor (JD) preferred), and/or a professional HR certification such as Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) or Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional/Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-CP/SCP).
