About the job

We are a premier human capital advisory firm dedicated to optimizing workplace cultures and scaling HR infrastructure for enterprise and high-growth clients. We are seeking an agile, analytical HR Consultant to join our 100% remote, fully virtual Human Resources practice. Tailored for an early-career professional, this cross-functional role bridges day-to-day employee lifecycle management with strategic policy engineering—encompassing client advisory, handbook development, multi-state labor compliance, performance management, and HRIS administration.

Why Join Us

  • Accelerated Professional Mobility: Gain unmatched career velocity by managing diverse client portfolios, exposing you to varied corporate structures, tech tools, and organizational cultures.
  • Continuous Technical Upskilling: Capitalize on our commitment to professional development, featuring internal training resources and support for recognized corporate HR certifications.
  • Comprehensive Benefits Architecture: Access a robust total rewards package featuring premium healthcare portfolios, an enterprise 401(k) retirement plan, and competitive paid time off structures.

Responsibilities

  • Lifecycle Administration: Advise managers on end-to-end employee onboarding, engagement, and offboarding workflows.
  • Employee Relations Support: Serve as the primary contact for HR inquiries, conflict resolution, and disciplinary or grievance processes.
  • Performance Management Coordination: Facilitate performance reviews, track organizational metrics, and support development initiatives.
  • Multi-State Labor Auditing: Conduct compliance assessments on federal, state, and local regulations including FLSA, EEOC, FMLA, and ADA.
  • Handbook & Document Development: Assist in drafting and updating custom employee handbooks, code-of-conduct manuals, and SOPs.
  • Audit Readiness: Maintain secure digital employee records and historical database trails to guarantee audit readiness.
  • System Management: Optimize core HRIS to ensure data hygiene, system integration, and profile accuracy.
  • Data Diagnostics & Reporting: Synthesize workforce data to generate regular reports on headcount, attrition, and metrics for corporate leadership.

QualificationsRequired

  • Experience Baseline: Minimum of 2 years of progressive, professional experience inside a corporate HR department, staffing agency, or professional consulting firm (ideally as an HR Generalist, Coordinator, or Junior Business Partner).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, or a closely related discipline.
  • Regulatory Literacy: Strong, practical foundational knowledge of core U.S. employment principles, workplace compliance practices, and multi-state labor laws.
  • Software Competency: High proficiency navigating standard Microsoft Office products and basic collaborative communication tools (Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace).
  • Core Competencies: Superb verbal and written communication skills, exceptional time management, strong emotional intelligence, and an absolute discretion when handling highly confidential organizational data.

Preferred

  • Active professional human resources certifications, such as a SHRM-CP or PHR designation.
  • Practical, hands-on experience navigating modern enterprise HRIS architectures (e.g., Rippling, BambooHR, Workday, or ADP).
  • Prior experience operating within a fast-moving client services agency or a rapidly growing startup environment.

Job Location & Details

  • Work Environment: 100% Remote
  • Visa Eligibility: Active Support Available for OPT & H1B Visa Pathways
  • USD Salary Range: $65,000 – $80,000 / year base salary
