The team This opportunity is open to candidates based in Slovakia, Kosice, and requires supporting not only local HR operations, but also remotely covering processes and activities related to offboarding, leave management, and employee lifecycle changes across multiple countries within the EMEA region. The position offers the opportunity to work in a cross-country setup, collaborating virtually with stakeholders and HR teams in various countries. The role

  • Serve as a specialist on HR-related topics, providing guidance on offboarding, leave management, employee changes, and assisting employees with topics related to HR procedures and self-service usage
  • Handle all local HR paperwork connected to processes such as onboarding, offboarding, leave management, and lifecycle changes, ensuring compliance with local legal and company requirements
  • Maintain and update local personnel files, both in hard-copy and electronic format, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with document retention policies
  • Contribute to the preparation and verification of monthly payroll inputs related to offboarding, leave management, and lifecycle changes for Slovakia
  • Maintain regular collaboration with the local payroll vendor in Slovakia on various topics related to the employee lifecycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll-impacting changes
  • Be the first point of contact for queries coming from employees via tickets (Jira), ensuring prompt and effective responses
  • Provide support on HR People Processes across the EMEA region, focusing on areas such as offboarding, leave management, employee lifecycle changes and related activities
  • Identify and understand customer needs, clarify every issue thoroughly, provide timely updates and deliver final solutions that meet their expectations
  • Work closely with internal colleagues to ensure high accuracy of resolutions and to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Evaluate incoming questions, handle the majority of cases, and dispatch cases that require in-depth subject matter expertise to the responsible teams
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement and streamlining of HR processes
  • Document HR processes and updates to ensure clear communication and consistency across the team.

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a similar position, preferably in an HR SSC environment
  • Previous experience in supporting Slovakia and other European countries in aspects related to offboardings, leave management and employee lifecycle changes
  • Very good command of English, both written and spoken
  • Experience in working with HR systems such as Workday, Oracle and Jira
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building good relationships within the team and across departments within the company
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks, ensuring high-quality outcomes
  • Willingness to fulfill commitments and proactively take the initiative in tasks and projects
  • Committed to enhancing the employee experience by ensuring smooth and supportive processes
  • Ability to work efficiently while meeting established SLAs and deadlines
  • Ability to identify, initiate, and implement changes/improvements in workflows
