SAP Payroll Consultant

A global HR and payroll solutions organisation are embarking on complex SAP payroll transformation and optimisation projects.

They require an SAP Senior NL/DE Payroll Consultant to join them on a long term contract engagement.

This role will focus on delivering technical and functional SAP payroll solutions, supporting large-scale implementations, system improvements, and post go-live optimisation across international client environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical and functional vision for SAP NL/DE Payroll implementations and enhancement projects
• Gather requirements, analyse business needs, and oversee solution design, configuration, testing, training, and post go-live support
• Provide expert-level troubleshooting and resolution for complex technical and application-related issues
• Mentor and coach development teams while promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to optimise service delivery, identify business opportunities, and improve platform performance

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Expert-level knowledge of SAP architecture, SAP Payroll, and HR processes
• Strong experience across technical development environments, database design, and multiple programming languages
• Ability to lead complex projects independently while managing multiple priorities simultaneously
• Excellent analytical, organisational, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent written and spoken English, with Dutch considered a strong advantage
