We are looking for a SENIOR PEOPLE LEADER EMEA (M/F/D) to join our dynamic People function. This strategic leadership role is essential in delivering a world-class employee experience across our EMEA operations while guiding cultural transformation, driving continuous improvement, and aligning People practices with our global vision.LOCATION: Europe (Remote)KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and develop the People team across EMEA, fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performance environment.
  • Deliver best-in-class People programs aligned with global strategy – including performance management, recruitment, talent development, and compliance.
  • Drive people-related transformation, ensuring operational excellence, continuous improvement, and cost-efficiency across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Partner closely with global People Centers of Expertise (CoE) in the US and peers across Business Groups to harmonize processes and policies.
  • Support business growth by aligning talent strategies with organizational goals and providing proactive guidance to leaders on complex HR matters.
  • Own the execution of employee lifecycle activities across the region – from goal setting and feedback cycles to compensation reviews and succession planning.
  • Champion Orbia’s values and lead initiatives to strengthen culture, engagement, and internal communications.
  • Establish and oversee KPI reporting for the region, enabling data-driven decisions and transparency.
  • Act as a formal representative in additional capacities, including Branch Manager (Meppen, Germany) and HR Officer for our European headquarters.
  • Support M&A integrations and cross-BG collaboration to ensure streamlined HR governance.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced education or certifications in HR or leadership is a plus.
  • Extensive HR leadership experience in a fast-paced, multinational environment, ideally with a regional scope.
  • Proven track record in people strategy, organizational design, talent development, and leading HR transformations.
  • Experience in leading, developing, and coaching geographically dispersed teams across the EMEA region.
  • Fluency in English (C1/C2); additional European languages are a plus.
  • Hands-on experience in change management, project leadership, and process optimization.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, with the ability to influence senior leaders and inspire teams.
  • Strong cultural awareness and ability to engage with diverse, distributed teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; experience with HR systems is beneficial.
  • Intellectually curious, resilient, and energized by building strong relationships and driving meaningful change.
