Workday Benefits & Integrations Consultant Engagement Details Contract role Remote U.S. benefits focus Expected duration through open enrollment and year-end benefits work Start date expected in July

We're seeking an experienced Workday Benefits & Integrations Consultant to support upcoming U.S. benefits and open enrollment-related changes. This consultant will assist with benefits configuration, carrier/provider changes, integration updates, outbound files, reporting, testing, and overall open enrollment readiness.

The ideal consultant has strong Workday Benefits experience, hands-on integration or reporting experience, and the ability to partner with internal benefits and Workday teams to execute time-sensitive benefits changes.

Responsibilities

Support Workday Benefits configuration for U.S. benefits and open enrollment changes.

Assist with benefit plan setup, carrier/provider changes, and open enrollment readiness.

Build, update, or troubleshoot benefits-related integrations, reports, and outbound carrier files.

Support custom reports, file feeds, and SFTP-based delivery processes.

Partner with internal Benefits, HRIS, and Workday stakeholders to gather details, validate changes, and resolve issues.

Assist with testing, file validation, issue resolution, and production readiness.

Identify risks or gaps related to benefits setup, carrier feeds, and integration dependencies.

Provide hands-on support throughout the benefits change and open enrollment process.

Required Experience

Hands-on Workday Benefits configuration experience.

Experience supporting U.S. benefits and open enrollment projects.

Experience with benefits integrations, carrier files, custom reports, and outbound data feeds.

Experience with testing, troubleshooting, and validation of benefits-related changes.

Understanding of common U.S. benefit programs such as medical, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, disability, and related plans.

Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with benefits and Workday teams.

Preferred Experience

EDI 834 experience.

Experience with SFTP-based carrier file delivery.

Experience supporting organizations moving from third-party benefits administration models to direct carrier integrations.

Financial services or regulated industry experience.
