Brabers Consultancy is seeking a Senior Customer Service Specialist to join our team. This remote position is ideal for a motivated professional with deep functional and technical payroll expertise. You’ll support operational teams, assist management, and help deliver high-quality service to our clients.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist managers in client engagement by ensuring accurate and timely information delivery.
  • Provide support and guidance during client implementations and go-lives.
  • Deliver daily functional support to operational teams to ensure smooth and accurate payroll delivery.
  • Maintain and update the Client Solution Workbook.
  • Ensure Defined Work Instructions (DWIs) and related process documents are kept current and consistently followed.
  • Test and sign off on system maintenance tasks.
  • Review Statements of Work before submission to clients to ensure clarity and accuracy.
  • Resolve escalated functional/technical issues from the team, including proper issue tracking and escalation to Application Services and/or Product teams.
  • Collaborate with Operational Management, Transformation, and Product teams on automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support year-end processes, resolve escalations, and contribute to post-project reviews and lessons learned.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of core HR processes (e.g., recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee lifecycle).
  • Work with HR Business Partners to ensure HR processes are aligned with business goals and consistent across locations.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for assigned HR processes, maintaining process documentation and ensuring compliance.
  • Monitor process efficiency using KPIs and feedback, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with HRIS and relevant stakeholders to ensure systems effectively support HR processes.

Required Experience

  • Solid understanding of payroll inputs and outputs including third-party interfaces, timekeeping, tax compliance, and benefits integration.
  • 3–4 years of relevant experience administering payroll in an HR consulting, outsourcing, or corporate environment.
  • Expert-level knowledge of payroll processes, practices, and compliance regulations.

Education and TrainingEssential:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, HR, Business Administration, or a related field — or equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting payroll and HR functions in complex environments.

Desirable:

  • Experience with HRIS platforms such as Workday, SAP, or PeopleSoft.
  • Payroll-related certifications are a plus.

Work Location

This is a remote position open to candidates based anywhere in the Netherlands.
